When did you last review your pension?
As 2021 draws to a close and we look forward to the year ahead, it’s a good time to focus on your pension planning. 
I’ve been talking to many of my clients about their pensions. 
 

Do you have old or frozen pensions and you’re unsure if you can combine these? Would you like more flexibility to pass any unused pensions onto your family? I think we can all agree that the past 18 months have been turbulent due to the pandemic. Some have experienced ill health, furlough and redundancy, while others will have struggled with their festive spending. Being focused on your career or trying to run a business, you may not have had time to review your pensions. It’s important to have a pension review to check whether you’ll be financially secure in the future. You might be able to combine old or frozen pensions into one pension pot with easy online access going forwards. 

The Lifetime Allowance has been frozen until 2026, so you may need to take action if the value of your pension benefits is around this level. When was your last pension review?
