Prayer used at the opening and closing

of the Christmas Tree Festival 2019

 

Dear God,

Thank you for Christmas. Thank you for the promise of joy and happiness as we give and receive presents and share with the people we love. Thank you for these Christmas trees that bring the gift of so much joy to so many this Christmas. But thank you most of all, for the gift of Jesus that you gave to the world on that first Christmas. Help us to remember you this Christmas time and to show your love to others.
